- Hello, I'm Julie and happily married to Chris. We have 2 kids between the 2 of us. Ken & Alexis. My daughter, Alexis is battling 2 diseases that have No Cure! I am trying to raise awareness to these, Chiari Malformation and Syringomyelia. Alexis' main symptom was scoliosis. There were other symptoms that I didn't realize until later. This disease is affecting 300,00 people a year. And many people have NO symptoms. Or don't realize that they ARE symptoms.

Shriners' is a wonderful organization for scoliosis. I am very grateful for their help with our brace and wonderful doctors, nurses and staff....love them
